Afrik Pharmaceuticals Plc is a leading indigenous pharmaceutical company borne out of the previous identity, Afrik Enterprise Nigeria Limited. Incorporated in Nigeria on 30th November, 1972, Afrik Pharmaceuticals Limited specialized in manufacture, marketing and distribution of large volume parenteral solutions/ infusions packaged in non-toxic soft medical grade bags.
Afrik Enterprise Nigeria Limited on August, 1990 changed its name to Afrik Pharmaceuticals Limited. The company in December, 1990 became a public limited company and was later granted a listing on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

With an installed capacity of over 396,000 litres annually as at 2014, the company has proposed a 300 per cent increase within the next 12 months, equivalent to 1.2 million litres of intravenous parenteral preparation yearly. The company is also set to increase in its market share by opening a new range of medical products.
